Jenni Dufoort in an American singer-songwriter. In 2011 she moved to The Netherlands together with her family, to work with the international missions organization, Youth With a Mission (YWAM). During this time the dream of sharing her music with a wider audience began to grow, and in 2017 producer René de Vries (Brown Feather Sparrow, Minco Eggersman, Schrijvers voor Gerechtigheid) helped that dream become reality. The result was Jenni’s debut album ‘Light’, which includes inspirational songs like, ‘Faith is Not Something You Wear On Sunday’ and ‘Land of the Living’. Jenni sings about topics like jealousy and negative self-image, while the message of hope in a better reality heartily resounds. “I’ve learned to be honest about my own struggles and believe that because of that my songs will be able to impact and help many people. Truth, transparency and transformation remain the core message inside each of my songs.”, says Jenni. ‘Light’ was received enthusiastically in The Netherlands. This led to collaboration with Neema, a performance at the Graceland Festival, and cooperation with Hour of Power where Jenni lent her voice to sing their TV commercial. Since 2018, she is also part of Bonfire, the European Singersongwriters Collective.
